What we see
Bitannia Church (Bitania) is a community of believers whose vision is deeply rooted in the powerful declaration of 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
This verse captures the essence of who the church is and what it is called to do: to be a transformed people who live as light in the world and boldly proclaim the goodness of God through both their words and their lives.
Our Teaching
Bitania’s vision unfolds in three interconnected and mutually reinforcing directions:
The church is passionately committed to cultivating a mature, vibrant, and authentic spiritual community. This involves:
- Prayer as the foundational heartbeat of the church.
- Biblical teaching and discipleship that roots every member firmly in the Word of God.
- Mission-shaped living, where faith is not private but actively expressed.
- Love, unity, and authentic community lived out through fellowship, accountability, and shared life.
The goal is not mere activity, but genuine transformation — producing disciples who reflect the character of Christ.
Bitania is intentionally moving from inward growth to outward impact. The church aims to:
- Grow both numerically and geographically.
- Redefine and practice evangelism as socio-economic justice — demonstrating the gospel through practical acts of compassion, justice, and community transformation, not just proclamation.
- Make the mission the shared responsibility of every believer, not just pastors or a select few.
This outward expansion is both spiritual (winning souls) and holistic (addressing human needs), reflecting the full scope of the Kingdom of God.
Understanding that the church’s own story began with young people, Bitania is making the discipleship of children and youth a top priority. The vision is to raise a generation that:
- Knows God personally and intimately.
- Understands and loves Scripture deeply.
- Lives out the Gospel with boldness and conviction in their schools, communities, and future workplaces.
This includes creating dedicated programs for spiritual formation, mentorship, leadership development, and giving young people meaningful roles in church life from an early age.

- Structured Ministries: Evangelism & Missions, Discipleship & Christian Education, Home Cell Groups, Prayer Ministries, Worship, and Social Outreach.
- Three-Year Strategic Plan: A clear, focused roadmap that aligns all church activities around growth, expansion, leadership development, and making mission a natural lifestyle for the entire congregation.
- Holistic Approach: Balancing depth (spiritual formation), width (evangelism and outreach), and legacy (next generation).
